I've been studying music since I was eight, and writing songs since I was ten. I took many years of piano lessons, and have more recently been focusing on my singing and learned the guitar. I have lots of other songs, but I'm only putting up here the ones that I consider to be the best ones that have been recorded. Please enjoy the ones that are here, and let me know what you think. =)

NEW! -
Stop Messaging Me [2:26] - lyrics - Guitar and two vocal parts. Folky rock with lots of swears. You know that thing where your ex keeps sending you messages on MSN or Nexopia or something and you wish they would stop it? That's what this song is about. And the harmonies are awesome.
Recorded October 31 2006.

A Hand To Hold [3:29] - lyrics - Two guitars and two vocal parts (harmonies yay!). Sort of folky I guess. It's about wanting to be close to someone even though you know it's only temporary.
Recorded September 11 2006.

Say It Back [3:33] - lyrics - Piano and voice. Kinda jazzy and cool. It's about that "I love you crisis" that occurs in the early stages of a relationship. "When someone says I love you, you have to say it back."
Recorded September 15 2006

But I Don't Love You [4:17] - lyrics - Guitar, two vocal parts, percussion. Minor key folk-rock? It's about contemplating the person you're with, loving everything about them, but not loving them. Being kept prisoner in a way, and pretending to love them.
Recorded May 16 2006

Out of the Storm [3:08] - lyrics - Two guitars, two vocal parts, percussion. Minor key, slow and rockish. Imagine you saw someone at the same time every day, six am. In winter it would be dark every time you saw them. They would appear to be the brightest thing around. As time passed, it would get lighter, you would see more clearly. That's what this song is about.
Recorded August 18 2006

Yours And Mine [3:04] - lyrics - Piano and voice. Sort of the first stages of a rock song. It's about "breaking up" with a band mate.
Recorded August 18 2006

That You Suck [2:41] - lyrics - Two guitars and two vocal parts. Jazzy rock? It's about being pissed off at someone for not believing in themselves and being a quitter.
Recorded September 4 2006

Promise Me [0:55] - lyrics - Piano and voice. Simple, kinda bouncy. It's about trying to get someone to promise not to cheat on you.
Recorded August 11 2006

If You Were Lost [4:05] - lyrics - Guitar and voice. Rock? It's about hearing about a death in your city and hoping it doesn't happen to the one you love.
Recorded August 26 2006

Until I Met You [5:13] - lyrics - Guitar and voice. Rock. It's about having been cheated on. "I never wrote a sad song 'til I met you."
Recorded September 11 2006

Beneath Me [3:26] - lyrics - Rock? Nice drums, weird synth guitar and vocals. It's a love hate thing about a sex-and-violence-type relationship. Heavily inspired by Buffy and Spike. "I insult you just to bait you / You insult me and I hate you / You're beneath me, I'm above you / but I just can't help but love you."
Instruments recorded before May 2002, voice recorded September 17 2006

Triumphant and Meloncholy [1:31] - Orchestral instrumental. A short but wicked cool soundtrack-type emotional song. I see it as being the last scene of a video game, after you've won the huge battle, and you're proud, but sad at the same time that so many people died.
Recorded before May 2002

Girl Watching [1:20] - lyrics - This is the most elaborate song I've done in a really long time, and I'm pretty proud of it. It started as improv jazz on piano, and now has piano, bass, sax, cymbal, and a horn section, plus singing
Recorded July 24, 2002

Please Mr. Marsters (The James Marsters Song) [2:52] - Lyrics - A silly song, to be listened to when feeling giggly, about James Marsters who plays Spike on Buffy. It's rock, with drums, bass, and 4 kinds of guitars.
Recorded August 4, 2002
